Prescription Writing
Medi-EMR's Prescription writing ability allows the Physician to easily write clear prescriptions which can be printed, faxed or e-mailed to the pharmacy.

In addition, Medi-EMR can populate your drug list directly from your in-house pharmacy. The drugs that are carried in your pharmacy will be highlighted, so that the physician can easily determine which drugs are available at your in-house pharmacy.

Also, Medi-EMR's prescription writing has a manager approval feature which requires a manager's approval code to be entered before a Narcotic prescription can be issued.

Personally Configurable
Medi-EMR's screen has a different look based on who is logged into the system. A Physician may have different tabs then the nurse or administration. This allows the user to move more quickly through their tasks.

Scheduling
The Medi-EMR system handles your patient services from the first point of contact. Whether calling in on the phone, or checking in at the counter, Medi-EMR has you covered. See your schedule on a calendar in any configuration you please. Scheduling can be done in blocks of 5 min, to 2 hrs,. in any increment you prefer. Depending on the type of visit you select, the system will default to the proper visit length. In addition, you may also allow double booking with or without a managers override.

Messaging
The messaging feature of MEDI-EMR allows for total and easy communications throughout the office allowing users to document phone calls and patient contacts. Message notification system alerts the user that messages are waiting for him directly on the laptop, and gives the user the ability to respond or forward the message.
